INTRODUCTION
Dravis Interests offers applied training seminars to the petroleum industry. Since 1987, nearly 200 seminars have been given to a broad spectrum of petroleum geoscientists and engineers representing over 30 major and independent oil and gas companies.
These seminars include an Advanced Carbonate Field Seminar to Caicos Platform in the southeastern Bahamas; a five-day, rock-based introduction to carbonate depositional systems and play types; a one-day overview of play development in the Austin Chalk of south Texas and Louisiana; a two-day seminar on Mesozoic carbonate plays around the ancestral Gulf of Mexico; a one-day overview of Paleozoic carbonate play development in west Texas and New Mexico; a two-day overview of modern carbonate environments, processes and products, with application to hydrocarbon plays; and an applied carbonate diagenesis seminar.
Seminars are given in classroom and field locations. Both public and private versions are available for most of these seminars. Seminar lengths and contents can be tailored to a client’s needs. Contact Dravis Interests, Inc. for more information.
