Dravis Interests, Inc. provides consulting services and applied training seminars to the oil and gas industry. Jeff’s seminars are highly praised for their timely and applicable information, and for their organization and quality of instruction.
Dravis Geological Services brings extensive worldwide experience to solving problems in carbonate exploration and development geology. Key information is gleaned from rock data using enhanced petrographic techniques, and applied to wireline log and seismic data to delineate play relationships or build more effective reservoir models.
Jeff Dravis is a carbonate geologist whose consulting activities primarily focus on aiding the discovery of oil and gas deposits, or enhancing their development once they are discovered. He also conducts numerous applied carbonate training seminars for industry every year.
Jeff’s areas of expertise, the projects he has carried out in exploration, reservoir development and petrography, and the training seminars he offers are described in this Web site. Feel free to contact Jeff’s references for feedback.
AN INNOVATIVE, EXERCISED-BASED, 5-DAY SEMINAR
[ ALSO AVAILABLE AS PUBLIC SEMINAR ]
Presented By: Jeffrey J. Dravis Ph.D.
I left Caicos with an entirely new appreciation for the scale and complexity of carbonate deposition and diagenesis that will directly impact the ways in which I approach core, facies models, mapping and seismic interpretation. My experience in Caicos will undoubtedly bring me closer to achieving some “truth” in my carbonate work, now that I’ve seen reality!
Thank you very much for the seminar yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed it. As someone with absolutely zero experience in the AC or any chalk plays it was a great overview. This helped tremendously to get up to speed on the history and key drivers of this type of play.
